Gurgaon's Top 10
Cocktail Bars
A deep-dive into the city's finest pours — ranked by cocktail quality, vibe, ambiance and value. Sourced from Zomato, TripAdvisor, Magicpin & expert reviews.
Gurgaon's most celebrated bar and arguably the city's best pure cocktail experience. Tucked in an unremarkable market basement, this speakeasy recreates the 1920s Prohibition-era atmosphere with dim amber lighting, plush leather seating, live jazz, and bartenders who genuinely talk to you while crafting your drink. Unlike the loud party bars of Sector 29, C&D is intimate and focused: the cocktail is the point. The menu is mood-driven — they'll ask how you're feeling and build something around it. Won multiple national bar awards.
One of Delhi-NCR's most curated cocktail programmes, led by Nitin Tewari — one of India's most respected mixologists. Set on the 12th floor of Le Meridien with sweeping views of Gurgaon's skyline on one side and the Aravallis on the other, the bar has 12 signature cocktails built around the concept of memory: 'First Drink We Had', 'Bonfire', 'Rooftop Sunset'. The cocktail menu rotates every 6 months, keeping regulars genuinely surprised. The space blends minimalist drama with warmth — private dining nooks, a long bar, and thoughtful lighting.
The most beautiful garden bar in Gurgaon, period. LYRAH is tucked inside the Trident hotel's lush green grounds — a fully open-air alfresco experience that feels like a Tuscan countryside escape within a luxury hotel. The cocktail philosophy is deeply Indian: kokum, rose water, betel leaf (paan), Himalayan honey, raw mango, and imli all feature prominently in a menu that reads like a love letter to the subcontinent's botanicals. Live music on weekdays; DJ on weekends. Opens only in the evening (6 PM onwards).
The newest entry to Gurgaon's cocktail scene — and the most buzzy. BANNG is Michelin-starred chef Garima Arora's (of Gaa, Bangkok) first India restaurant, and the cocktail programme is as considered as the food. The drinks are structured around Muay Thai weight classes: Flyweight (light and refreshing) through to Heavyweight (bold, spirit-forward) — an inspired concept. The space transforms: fine dining till 11 PM, then a full nightspot post-midnight. Interiors are Bangkok-inspired with Thai lanterns, warm reds, and energy.
For the whisky obsessive who also wants a great cocktail, Whisky Samba is the answer. The bar is anchored by a 50-foot-long counter lined with over 140 whisky varieties — from everyday aperitif blends to ultra-rare vintages — all sorted by flavour profile (smoky, peaty, fruity, floral). The cocktail list is shorter but well-executed: variations of Negroni, Sour, and house specials. The interiors are dark leather and warm wood — deliberate and handsome. Outdoor seating available. It's on Golf Course Road, slightly removed from the Sector 29 chaos, which makes it better for conversation.
The best cocktail-focused rooftop bar in Gurgaon's Sector 29 hub. What separates Raise The Bar from the area's other rooftops is intentionality: the cocktail menu is structured as a 'Journey Across the World', with each drink inspired by a different country or cocktail culture. The drinks are both beautiful to look at and genuinely delicious — not just Instagram props. The 360° city skyline view is spectacular, especially at night when fire lamps and candle lighting come on. Cosy wooden accents and a fireplace for winter evenings.
Gurgaon's most underrated evening destination. Nowhere Terrace is what happens when a good European-style terrace café meets a well-run microbrewery. The ceiling is famously constructed from broken beer bottles — a visual statement that sets the tone. Both indoor and outdoor seating across a rooftop space that doesn't rush you — people come here and stay for hours. Live music every single day (different bands, solo artists) at a volume that enhances rather than overpowers conversation. The cocktail menu is solid, the craft beer is excellent, and it feels like a neighbourhood local that happens to be very good.
Vapour has one genuinely unique concept: the stock market bar. Cocktail and beer prices fluctuate live on large screens based on real-time demand — when everyone orders the Mojito, its price rises; unpopular drinks become cheap. It drives genuine engagement and is a conversation starter in itself. Alongside this gimmick is actually a very solid craft brewery: their house-brewed stouts, IPAs, and molecular cocktails are legitimately good. An in-house DJ and dance area cater to the party crowd. Multiple locations across the city mean there's usually one near you.
The best value cocktail bar in Cyber Hub. The Drunken Botanist is decorated with lush greenery and plants — almost like drinking inside a greenhouse — giving it a distinctive ambiance in a strip dominated by industrial brewpubs. The cocktails lean botanical: gin-forward drinks, fresh herb muddlings, floral tonics. At under ₹300 for many drinks, it's substantially more affordable than its Cyber Hub neighbours. The live singer on Monday nights is a standout; weekends bring a DJ. Gets busy quickly, so arrive early if you want a good seat.
Sector 29's most reliable all-rounder for a fun night out. Adda by Striker combines a brewery, a restro-bar, and a rooftop into one energetic venue. The cocktails are imaginative and generously priced — it's the kind of place where you can try six different drinks across an evening without breaking the bank. The decor is warm wood and Edison bulbs with a quirky, mismatched charm. Open till 2 AM every day, with DJ Sahil and regular Ladies Nights driving footfall. The rooftop is the best seat in the house — book ahead on weekends.

A newer, quieter, and increasingly sophisticated cocktail corridor anchored around the Grand Hyatt complex and M3M IFC. Less touristy than Sector 29 or Cyber Hub — this is the local's choice for a premium evening without the weekend madness.
The most interesting new cocktail bar in Southern Gurgaon. Juu Juu occupies an outdoor courtyard carved out between tall, half-constructed towers in the Grand Hyatt complex — which creates a genuinely unusual urban atmosphere: golden lanterns, low-slung chandeliers, lush plants, open sky, and the raw geometry of glass-and-steel towers looming above. It's eerie in a beautiful way. The cuisine is Mediterranean and Middle Eastern — Turkish mezze, wood-fired dishes — and the cocktail menu leans accordingly, with interesting pours like a Mango Paloma, Tiramisu Martini, and mood-driven signature drinks. The outdoor seating with courtyard AC vents makes it comfortable year-round.
Part carnival, part fine dining, part lounge — Romeo Lane is a full-evening production. It describes itself as a "living, breathing carnival", and that's apt: the interiors are theatrically lit with soft neons, there's an island bar that's a focal point of the room, and the energy builds steadily through the evening with an in-house DJ. The cocktail menu is elaborate, and while the food reviews are mixed, the drinks are consistently praised. It seats 100+ and is a great venue for group bookings or celebrations.
The most ambitious bar in the southern Gurgaon corridor — and arguably one of the best craft brewery experiences in the city. Reflex occupies a dramatic industrial-chic space with 30-foot ceilings, copper brewing tanks on full display, a 15-ft LED screen, regal chandeliers, and a stunning outdoor terrace. The brewmaster produces 8+ rotating beers on-site — from Belgian Wits to bold IPAs to smooth Stouts — and the signature cocktail programme is equally serious. Live music and DJ nights run most evenings. Reviewers say the ambiance makes you feel "not in Gurgaon" — the highest compliment.
The quiet premium option in this corridor, tucked inside the Grand Hyatt. Aperitivo is an Italian-style tapas bar with a relaxed, urbane vibe — think low lighting, plush seating, a curated wine wall, and an artisanal cocktail menu that skews European. It's the kind of bar where you can hold a proper conversation without raising your voice, and the Italian aperitivo philosophy (light bites, beautiful drinks, unhurried pace) is executed well. Also available: a colonial whisky bar within the hotel featuring whiskies from Scotland, America, and globally, with classic cocktails. Prices reflect the five-star setting.
